Research at the Faculty of Biology and Preclinical Medicine
Our faculty's research covers a broad spectrum of areas such as biomedicine, biotechnology, cell and structural biochemistry, biophysics, bioinformatics, microbiology, genetics, molecular ecology and evolution as well as neurobiology. Using a variety of modern technologies, biological scales ranging from single molecules to intact cells, tissues and various living organisms are studied across scales. This multi-faceted research community creates an exciting and stimulating environment for teaching in the biological and biomedical sciences.
