Antoine Gansel

PhD Student

I am since October 2023 a PhD student in the QPC research group for Cryptography and Data Security, advised by Prof. Dr. Juliane Krämer.

I received my Master in Cyber Security in August 2023 from the University of Twente (nl) and the University of Trento (it). Before that, I did a Bachelor of Computer Science at the University Grenoble Alpes (fr). I also had the opportunity to do my third year in Erasmus at the Trinity College Dublin (ie).

Research Interests

I am mainly working on side channel attacks on Quantum Key Distribution. However, my  research interest more generally lies into the chain of trust and its implications, in particular what (implicit) trust assumptions are done in which situations, what those assumptions implies and whether they are really necessary.
