Welcome to the homepage of the Evolutionary Ecology Research Group at the Department of Zoology at the University of Regensburg!
Our research focuses on the behavioral, evolutionary and chemical ecology of Hymenoptera, and we are mainly working on three different model organisms: the European beewolf (Philanthus triangulum, Hymenoptera, Crabronidae), the Jewel wasp (Ampulex compressa, Hymneoptera, Ampulicidae), and the red mason bee (Osmia bicornis, Hymenoptera, Megachilidae).
