Coaching offers professional individual counselling on professional roles and is organised in cooperation with the F3G consortium if required.
The coachee has the opportunity to discuss current challenges relating to their work situation and career with a professional coach in confidential discussions.
The coach does not present any proposed solutions, but offers space for targeted self-reflection and uses various methods to support the development of solutions and options for action.
Examples of topics for individual coaching:
- Applications for professorships / postdoc positions
- Academic career planning; (decision-making) uncertainties regarding the planned career path (e.g. aiming for a professorship versus leaving academia)
- Team leadership
- Personal development
- Dealing with stress / resilience
- Conflict resolution
Programme:
Female early career researchers who require individual coaching should contact the Equal Opportunities Officer at TRR374 with the problem for which they are looking for a solution.
In collaboration with Dr. Monika Stärk and the F3G consortium, we will put you in touch with a suitable coach and organise the contract preparation.
There is usually a non-binding initial meeting between coach and coachee to get to know each other and discuss possible goals and issues.
Target group:
Funding for equal opportunities from TRR374 can be used for individual career coaching for young female scientists (usually 4 to 6 hours).
The costs of coaching related to gender and diversity awareness (e.g. leadership and communication in intercultural research contexts) can be covered for scientists of all genders.
If you are interested in individual coaching, please do not hesitate to contact the Equal Opportunities Officer!
