
Select your (Post)Doc-Representatives!
All of you who are currently pursuing a doctorate or who are obtaining further academic qualifications after completing your doctorate are warmly invited to participate in the selection of your representatives on the WIN boards.
The Advisory Board (Beirat) will have one person respectively as a representative from each of these three groups:
- Doctoral researchers who are members of structured programs,
- Doctoral researchers who are not members of structured programs, and
- Researchers obtaining further qualifications after their doctorate like postdocs and candidates working on their habilitation.
Our schedule: Nominate your candidates by July 4, 2025. Visit the WIN-Treff on July 8, 2025. Register to vote until Tuesday, July 22. The election will take place between 14 and 25 July 2025.

Service restrictions in the University Library from 26 to 30 June 2025
The University Library will be transitioning to the new open-source library system FOLIO on July 1, 2025. To prepare for the switch, some library services will be temporarily unavailable from June 23 to 30, 2025:
- No borrowing, returns, requests or renewals
- No access to library account and watch lists
- If you have created watch lists, please make sure to export them by June 22, as they will not be transferred to the new system
What will remain available: Searching the catalog, access to e-resources, study spaces, and collection of already requested items.
Starting July 1, we will be back for you with upgraded technology, new features and all the services you are used to.
