News: Regensburg City Administration during the Nazi Era

University of Regensburg and City of Regensburg Sign Agreement for Long-term Research Project at UR's Center for Commemorative Culture.

Over the next twelve years, researchers at the University of Regensburg (UR) will investigate the history of Regensburg's city administration during the Nazi era. The official launch of this comprehensive and interdisciplinary research project took place on October 29, 2024, when the Executive Board and scholars of the University of Regensburg and the Lord Mayor of Regensburg signed a grant agreement in the Kurfürstenzimmer of the Old Town Hall in Regensburg.

The Center for Commemorative Culture (ZE) at the University of Regensburg is coordinating the research project, which the President of the University of Regensburg, Professor Dr. Udo Hebel, described at the signing ceremony as paradigmatic and eminently significant.
