Commercial advertising and marketing campaigns
Whether poster advertising, digital steles with moving images, aula systems or campus bags - there are possibilities for all these formats at the University of Regensburg, but also rules that must be observed. Is there a "notice board" for classified adverts?
There are specially designated poster areas at the University of Regensburg for student classified adverts (e.g. housing offers, resale of textbooks, tutoring wanted, private sales, etc.). These areas are labelled „Private Ankündigungen von Hochschulmitgliedern“ (= private announcements by members of the university) or "Studentische Kleinanzeigen“ (= student classified ads).
Can I put up a poster at the university?
Areas marked "Cultural events" or "Culture on campus" are available for use by student groups as well as non-profit non-university organisers (e.g. to announce concerts, theatre performances, charity runs, etc.).
Please observe the following rules:
- Only put up posters in designated areas. Posters or notices may not be affixed to pillars, exterior or interior walls or works of art. Any damage caused and cleaning costs must be borne by the person responsible.
- Do not put up multiple posters on the same wall.
- Do not use poster boards that are assigned to a faculty, chair or student representatives, for example.
- Flyers and leaflets may not be distributed at the university.

Advertising in canteens and cafeterias
Please note: The Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz is the landlord of the canteens and cafeterias on campus. If you would like to put up posters or advertise there, please observe the regulations of the Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz (external link, opens in a new window).
